Yay! Thank you for posting this! We were certainly not downplaying the safety concern and even agreed that it was our concern as well but as quoted, we just don't want the vagueness of the policy to be used as an excuse to take unlawful action against us.
What the article didn't explain is that the Commissioners agreed to diagram the other four major buildings with the no protest safety zones clearly marked and to make the language of the policy more definitive. This way there's no confusion and little or no gray area of interpretation.

Are those all occupy/99% people (apart from the vet in yellow, who I've seen at many 99% events)? A lot of tea party-like messages there...

The guys with the signs in the pic are not our people. The Tea Party also had issues with the same proposals.

The article is a little misleading. The pic is not our people but the article quoted an occupy rep. Oh well.
