Our voices are many and they are varied. We are passionate about the injustices that have been suffered and passionate about the solutions we believe will work to right them. This is good and what is better is sharing these ideas with each other even if we don't agree with them. Opposition is progressive and motivating. Part of what makes this movement so amazing IS the varied voices and the acceptance of that right we share to speak our minds under the constitution. Let's not forget that. Let's say, "I don't agree with you but I respect your right to that opinion." If it's not a deal breaker, if you still have good to do and if you could still use the help of those who understand, please, I beg of you, let it go. Accept agreements to disagree.
If you're truly in need of getting your point across, put together a fact sheet. Give references, examples, and revisit the disagreement. If not agreement, at least understanding. With that said, I offer some proverbs I've collected through the years that help give perspective sometimes. I'm not telling anyone what to do, just offering my mind so you can make up yours. We're here to better humanity, let's do it together.
1: Sometimes to gain ground you must slow down.
2: Clear your mind of what was and what will be and focus on the task that is.
3: Though you may feel you fight alone, you fight with the strength of the many that came before you.
