Fascist silencing of dissent? Because it was proppsed at the last GA that political signs are not appropriate? Surely you jest? This is an a-political movement, keep that in mind when you want to wave your Ron Paul sign at a sign wave and convince the passing traffic we are promoting him. I too have my rights, and one of them is NOT to be affiliated with Ron Paul!

I don't have a Ron Paul sign... I just see tyranny in what you suggest.

I feel sick to my stomach with all this Fascist silencing of dissent. Shame!!!! You can get a point across without using inflamitory language. If you are at the GA and you find any proposals that you are morally opposed to (think it's fascist for instance) you may block. If you find anything we are doing to be fascist, you can come to a GA meeting and make a proposal to end it. I personally will block anything I consider fascist myself -but we might disagree on what that is. Thus far, I have found most people to be reasonable (but not all). I am still willing to keep the door (and the mic) open to those I find aren't or for whom I disagree, even strongly. You are more than welcome to bring you conservative friends to meetings, and THEY can vote/block anything THEY don't like. In fact, I would encourage you to do so. I value the opinions of other. The problem with any political/polemical rhetoric when only talking to those who agree with you, is that you can forget that the people on the other side are human and deserving of human dignity and respect -please keep that in mind. What we need in this society is freedom so that people of varying beliefs/ views/ values can peacefully co-exist while pursuing their own life-path "happiness" is a way that doesn't harm other people or the rest of the world or life on this planet. Love and compassion for all -that is the moral standard above all. Don't forget that when dealing with people you disagree with and don't buy into the rhetoric that calls those people evil, wrong or stupid. All this anger has been created by people who are trying to control you instead of seeing them as human -that goes for all of us.
