The working groups tend to be autonomous, so I don't think you'll need GA approval for press releases.

Perhaps you can write the PR and then present it at the GA for approval/once over. We definitely need to get them going, and I think so far you are the one with the expertise in that area, so I say go with it!

Yus, I will be able to make it this week. Last week I had to skip in favor of some much needed time with my husband. I think that James may have an email address set up. Also, Mirielle is working on an events page on the website, the calendar just isn't displaying properly yet.
I would prefer that the link to the DA board not be one we give out to the public. It is more to say that is a good place to look for the most current info to answer questions. It's a good place to check before doing a press release to make sure there are no changes.

Nov 17 is 4-6 PM, btw. Poll is closed and it is official.
Will read your PR after I make the FB invite.

For the record, when in doubt you can give out my info. As mentioned on email I'd rather my phone number only be used for internal stuff bc I can't talk that much, but feel free to post the DA email or even mine (evannefloyd@gmail.com).

What file format is used for the press release? I'm having trouble opening them in word and pdf. Do I need to add a file extension?

I opened it with Wordperfect. I think my Office 2010, has trouble opening .doc because of the new .docx format. I'll just use wordperfect until I figure out the 2010 nuances.
