BCC is offering a non-accredited course in Alternative Energy (PYRX 0004) for $300 if anybody is interested.
Topics include solar panel assembly, installation and maintenance. At the Palm Bay campus Wenesdays 3-5:45pm

There may be some value in this course. For instance, they might be able to tell you the specific diode to install between the battery and the solar panel to avoid voltage spikes from the battery damaging the panel circuitry. If you are just curious about how photovoltaic energy is collected and converted into alternating current or the basics of solar panel installation so you use the angle to the sun to maximize the peak collection, I would be happy to give anyone an introduction to the subject for free. I've researched installing solar panels in the past, and I have a thorough understanding of electricity in general.
