Please note, I am posting this only to prompt productive action. It seemed to me that although we have been passing proposals, little work is being done on them there after. I thought to make it easier by starting threads in appropriate groups with proposals that need work. Anyone can help with these; please, and thank you. -M.E. I'm already facilitating two groups, I can try to pick up on a third but truly we need more volunteers or those who are trying to take on too much (like me) just to get it done are going to get burnt out fast.
I'm asking for your help. Please pick a team to help be responsible for and help our movement get more momentum and enact more progress. One person has to do things largely one at a time. Multiple people working can do multiple things at one time which means less time. This is voluntary, so if it doesn't work for you, you can step down too. We just need the help and with so many people so passionate about change I suppose I really figured people would jump at the opportunity to help coordinate that change.

I only feel completely confident to volunteer for one, so I will go for Direct Action. I'm good at coordinating events, etc.

I thought it was clear that James and I are willing and able to carry out the actions of the web group?
However, I can't speak for James, but I will assert I am willing to carry out web duties.
I had put myself as a moderator in the web group board (as I did you, Mandy in Materials, and Evanne in Media, based on what I had read, but will correct) to make it clear who was actively participating in that group's actions.

Thanks, Evanne, for the clarification. I should also clarify that I am willing to participate/contribute to actions in the media group, but not facilitate. This means I would have to volunteer or be asked specifically to carry out some action, (i.e. please write an article about "this", please research "that") whereas in the web group I am taking a more pro-active role, looking and listening to what other members are suggesting, and making additions, modifications and changes to web matters which I think would benefit the group.

This is good! <3 I will wait for James to define his involvement himself. Mireille, i'll update you as the facilitator of the web team.
Also, I have taken it upon myself to post the proposals and things which have had consensus (approval or tabled) and need work in the appropriate work groups. Feel free to jump in and help on any of those posts. I'll try to keep doing this every week so that those volunteering in the groups can see what needs work and just jump in. Suggestions are always welcome. I'm sort of winging it and adjusting as I go, I just wanted to get something out there to get things done.
Thank you again for volunteering!

I am not sure if I would have time to really dedicate myself to being facilitator... I can help where I can though!

I just realized I should post here... I'll facilitate Media and Peace Keepers if no one else is volunteering.

I see Remmy Ar'emen (Remmyhun) is listed as the media facilitator, so I'm going to request (s)he prepare a list I can use in association with upcoming PRs to ensure I can redirect inquiries.
The list should have the following: Working Group (WG) name, WG mission, facilitator or POC name, phone number and email address.
If this can be put together over the next day or so, perhaps I can list the facilitator as the POC in association with each specific event or topic that is described in a PR.
We're making progress! And of course I'm always open to ideas. Thank you.

I would like to volunteer to be the facilitator of the Issues Working Group. But just until someone really talented comes along. Expect a learning curve here, but I'll do my best to get involved as quickly as possible. If there's something you feel I should be doing, and I'm not - Feel free to message me!

I will update you on the roster and send you an e-mail with some stuff you could work on when you have time. First I need to make a call for the march. So stay tuned.
